La Cave des Vignerons Landais are doing extraordinary work in the heart of the Landes in Gascony.  Established in 1958, by a small group of winegrowers, and their families. They are now focussed on working with unusual, indigenous grape varieties and working sustainably and organically to achieve the highest level of HVE, Agri-Confiance, and AB certification. Active introduction of bird and bat boxes, grass grown between the vines and natural cattle grazing. Grapes are picked at optimum maturity during the early hours of the morning to keep the grapes cool, and carried to the cellars in small trays. Vinification under controlled temperatures with a view to producing wines that are clean, harmonious and a true reflection of the grape variety and the terroir.
