Nine generations of the Martin family have farmed this small Bordeaux vineyard in the Cotes de Blaye, on the banks of the Gironde estuary, facing Saint Estephe and Pauillac. Clay, sand and alluvium soil with main grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cot (Malbec) and Sauvignon Blanc. Only 35k bottles produced per year and vinified by Tony Martin, the latest to take the reigns of this 19th century vineyard and is producing wines that are a delight to drink, extremely popular with clients and customers, and which continually hold their own in blind tastings.
