Production Methods: Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and cement vats, the wine undergoes a cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by seven to ten days of fermentation at 28–30°C, with a total vatting period of around 26 to 31 days. It is then aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which are new, adding subtle complexity and texture.
Special Features: Owned by the dynamic and innovative Portet family who have farmed here for 4 generations. The vineyard is located on the gravelly hills of Soussans, in the heart of the prestigious Margaux appellation. It covers 37 hectares and completely exposed to the sun.
