Production Methods: The land is ploughed by hand without weed killers or fertilisers. Ancestral farming, and the vines have no systematic treatments or insecticides. Harvests performed at night. The produce of the harvest is sorted both at the picking and in the cellar. Direct pressing, maceration at 15°C for 5 months in a neutral atmosphere to preserve the aromas.
Special Features: Low yields of 28hl/ha. Vines in biological conversion. Chateau la Vivonne is located on the hills around the medieval village of Le Castellet and close to the sea and planted on terraces. Traditional Bandol winemaking, perpetuating precious know-how passed down from generation to generation. Each vintage embodies the authenticity of its terroir and their passion for wines of character.
