Production Methods: Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, to ensure freshness and fruit aromas concentration. Fermentation is carried out at low temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation for balance. Each plot is vinified separately in stainless steel and matured for 10 months.
Special Features: This single appellation wine, Vin de Savoie Ripaille AOC, is made from 100% Chasellas - a Swiss grape that was planted by the Ducs de Savoie in the 15th cenutry. Grown on a vineyard that is surrounded by the soft waters of Lake Geneva and the ancient castle walls, which work together to create a microclimate throughout the year, protecting the vines from both hard winter frosts and the summer heat.
