Domaine de l’Arjolle is an independent, family-run winery in Pouzolles, Languedoc. Founded in 1974 by Louis-Marie and Prosper. It is currently in the hands of six members of the same family, all of whom are experienced and passionate winemakers. Committed to sustainable farming and biodiversity they are involved with active reforestation, ecosystem restoration and water source development on the estate. They are making waves across the channel featuring on French TV Channel 5 in January 2025 and appearing on the wine lists of many prestigious restaurants and hotels including Hôtel de Luxe Fairmont Le Château, Frontenac Québec, Hotel 5* Park Hyatt Paris Vendome and Les Frêres Pourcel Terminal #1 Montpelier 

Innovations in de-alcoholisation using vacuum evaporation

Alcohol is removed from well made, well balanced wines by reducing the atmospheric pressure and allowing the boiling point of alcohol to drop to approximately 35°C, compared to the standard 80°C. This allows the alcohol to be removed with minimal thermal impact while retaining all the natural aromas of the fruit. The result is a true 0.0% ABV wine that preserves the wine’s character and varietal expression.
