Chateau Tayac has been in the Portet family for 4 generations and is managed with utmost care and consideration, by the current owners, Guy and Nicolas Portet. They favour the Méthode Cousinié - a system of observation and analysis to maintain optimum vineyard health. This allows them to use a holistic approach, mapping the soils and analysing leaves and trunks in order to promote biodiversity in the vines. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small amount of Petit Verdot are grown across their 37 hectares In the prestigious appellation of Margaux, between Bordeaux and Lesparre-Médoc.
