Production Methods: Fermented in big wooden vats and big concrete tanks. It is aged in 20%new French oak barriques, and partially in concrete, to preserve freshness, for 12-14 months. After that, it takes some time in the bottle before release.

Special Features: The vineyard and winery consultant is Michel Rolland. Planted in upright cordons with a density of 7,000 plants per hectare. This allows the plants to benefit from the wind and sun, to provide high quality grapes. Vineyard is cultivated by hand and using small tractors. Green harvest so that the crop never goes over 1kg per plant. Hand picked grapes are cooled down to 5°C in cooling rooms overnight before being sorted on sorting tables. The richness of the soil, and its minerality, comes from limestone, a bit of Dalmatian red soil, and excellent exposure to the sun.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Ruby red with purple nuances.

Nose: Very intense and aromatic nose of ripe dark berries, blackberries, plum and figs. Herbal notes of thyme and oregano that develops in sweet spices, bourbon vanilla and finishing with woody aromas and leather.

Palate: Rich and structured with silk tannins and deep flavours.

Length/Finish: Harmonious with a long finish.
