Production Methods: Hand-picked in mid-October. Grapes are gently crushed and macerated for 4 hours on the berry-skins. The must is subsequently fermented at 16°C, to provoke the development of typical grape aromas. A gentle expansion on the lees was following the fermentation to get a fine and fruity character.
Special Features: Sweet wines from the Rauen family are made from carefully selected grapes on the banks of the Mosel. Their motto is "quality over quantity," which is why these wines are only produced in special vintages.
