Soil: Predominantly limestone soils with clay-influenced sectors within Finca La Revilla, complemented by limestone-based soils from selected vineyards across the Piñel de Arriba moorland
Production Methods: Traditional production, hand-harvest. The grapes are grown using a goblet and trellis system, the wine is made using indigenous yeasts in the traditional way with at least 12 months in 90% French oak and 10% in American oak barrels, followed by 12 months further aging in the bottle.
Special Features: Winemaker Ricardo Velasco has transformed the high altitude vineyards of Valtravieso, their old vines, indigenous grape varieties and tough terrain into one of Spain's most unique and interesting terroirs. Located on the high-altitude plateau of Piñel de Arriba at 915 metres above sea level.

Nose: Blackcurrant and strawberry compote aromas with notes of nutmeg, spice
Palate: Balanced and approachable, with ripe fruit, fine-grained tannins and well-integrated oak. The palate combines generosity and precision, supported by vibrant acidity and a smooth, rounded texture.
