At Vinothentic our beliefs have never changed, not since a freezing January back in 2000 when we waited at Calais to receive our first palette of wines from a small group of growers we’d known and loved over generations. In fact, we still work with those families, and they still work in the same way as their forefathers, using their hands, their senses and their innate knowledge of the terroir.

We believe in supporting our growers from season to season, and encouraging the traditional, artisanal methods of viticulture that produce wines with a true identity and distinct personality. We are constantly surprised by their strengths and ability to battle everything the weather throws at them and to continue to fight for what they believe in, despite the vagaries of the global market economy.
