Super tuscans produced from 30 hectares of grapes on the southern slopes of the Montalbano hills, close to Florence. The winery dates back to 1839 when it was created by Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi and continues to make limited production wines to an exceptionally high standard under the helm of Stefano Nigi. Grapes are meticulously nurtured and harvested by hand in small crates. Manual selection and manual transfer to fermentation tanks. The portfolio of wines has garnered many awards and all are highly rated by James Suckling, Luca Maroni and others.
