Marco Venturini is an adventurer in wine. He is passionate about bringing local and indigenous grape varieties back to life in his tiny family vineyard, a short distance from Verona, and 10km from Lake Garda. Grapes are grown in arbours to provide shelter from the sun and improve airflow, a stone's throw from the back door of his house. Marco works using traditional and ancestral methods, alongside modern innovations, including the building of a new underground cellar which resides under a perfect drying room for his amarone grapes, giving them space to reach optimal conditions for vinification. He works with precision, passion and natural talent, all of which shine through in his wines.
