Bruno Gigondan is the seventh generation to farm the wild and beautiful organic vineyards at Domaine de Gigondan, in the communes of Saint Pantaleon les Vignes and Valreas. Intense focus on soil and vine management all of which is carried out by hand, with a system of wild viticulture with minimal targeted pruning and absolutely no chemicals at any stage of production.  Low yields of high quality grapes, grown on 65-year-old wines are harvested by hand when they reach optimum ripeness. Interestingly, Bruno favours a system of Hydro Demineralisation where rainwater is collected to make the vineyard's homeopathic tinctures, as it contains the precise PH balance required for the vines.
