Close to Saint Tropez, the Domaine de la Clemenciere is an Organic vineyard situated in the Coteaux Varois en Provence where the vines grow on clay-limestone soils that are swept by the Mistral winds. Their commitment to sustainability includes the planting of trees in the vineyard and the use of plant cover to help preserve a living soil and biodiversity in the vines. Grapes are picked at perfect maturity and harvesting takes place in the cool early morning air to avoid spoilage, and transported quickly to the winery for crushing. Cellar master Catherine Huguenin is responsible for creating the season's blend whose quality, elegance and balance and her passion for what she does is evident in every vintage.
