Chateau Bréhat occupies 5 hectares in the Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux AOC and benefits from a clay-silt soil and southern exposition, on the borders of the Saint Emilion appellation. Organic vines with HVE high environmental value status, the vineyard is managed by Jerome and Beatrice de Monteil, whose family has been on this site since the 15th century. Work on the vines is meticulous including controlled natural sodding and limited yields. Grapes are hand-harvested by plot and selected on tables.
